| Lessons & Recitals Piano Lessons will be scheduled weekly from September through May. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in various festivals and competitions throughout the year. Some of those events include: Studio Festival Extravaganza, various Music Festivals, and Music Progressions. I will provide you with registration information as it becomes available for the events. Recitals and rehearsals are also scheduled during the year. Tuition & Billing Lessons will be given weekly. Students will participate in 30 minute lessons at a tuition rate of $48/month. We can make other arrangements if necessary regarding tuition. Please feel free to consult with me in regards to financial issues. A $10.00 late fee will be added to any tuition payment that is not received by the 15th of the month it is due. There will be a $30 returned check fee for any returned check. Your tuition pays for attended and missed lessons from September through May, as well as all rehearsals and recitals. Lesson Books & Supplies Your child will need 2-3 books roughly every 6 months depending on their progress. A Practice Journal/Assignment Book will need to be purchased at the beginning of each year. A metronome will need to be purchased within the first month of lessons. Approximate initial fees for books/supplies: $50.00. Missed Lessons I plan each day on the assumption that every student will attend their scheduled lesson time. Make-up lessons will NOT be given. With a studio this size, there are limitations on time. If you have a conflict for your scheduled lesson time, you may swap with another student. I must be notified of the change 24 hours prior to the change. Lessons missed due to the teacher’s cancellation will be rescheduled or a credit will be placed on your account for the missed lesson. Practice Without regular practice time at home, the students will end up practicing at their lessons, rather than refining their skills and learning new skills. Practice time will be recorded in the student’s Practice Journal for special rewards or incentive programs I will offer throughout the year. |
