| Azure graduated from Abilene High School in 1994. After graduation, she attended Kansas State University and Manhattan Christian College to pursue the study of Music Education/Ministry. While attending college, she met her husband, Ben. The couple has three children, Adam, Ashlee and Allie. After the birth of their third child, Ben and Azure decided it was time for her to be at home with their children. Teaching piano lessons enables Azure to be at home full time. Azure began taking lessons at the age of six. She continued to study piano through high school and college. She has been blessed with the opportunity to use her skills as an accompanist for school choirs & ensembles, jazz instrumental ensembles, and worship ministries at various churches in Kansas. Azure is a member of Music Teachers National Association, Kansas Music Teachers Association, & Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association. She currently serves as the President of South Central Kansas Music Teachers Association. Azure has a genuine love for music and desires to pass that love on to her students through quality instruction. She truly believes the combined efforts of parent-student-teacher always produce a superior result. Not only does Azure have the desire to teach the value of music to your child, but also the value of faith in Christ Jesus. For it is through Christ that great things can be accomplished in the education of your child. |
